The Hour of Compline:
Joseph Dreams of Home

Twice already the angel has come to Joseph in his dreams:
first to bid him to remain with the newly-pregnant Mary,
then with a warning to take Mary and the young Jesus and
flee to Egypt.  Now the angel appears again, telling him it
is time to take his family home.  Joseph listens to each
word that comes in his dreaming, these invocations that
propel him from threshold to threshold.
